What Symptoms Does Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART) Treat?

Trauma depends on many factors, including a person’s perception of and proximity to the event. In general, traumatic events expose the child to death, serious injury, or violence. Here are some examples of events that could lead to PTSD in children: car accidents, natural disasters, etc.

Trauma triggers can be very intense negative emotional reactions that lead to unhappiness, decreased ability to function, sleep problems, relationship problems, and other issues. Traditional talk therapy can be helpful. However, many times, just talking about trauma does not resolve trauma. This is why specialized therapy is needed. With ART’s specialized protocols, a person may see rapid relief from the negative impact of trauma. ART has been shown to decrease or eliminate PTSD symptoms in as little as 3 to 4 therapy sessions.
